The people of CQ will have the final say on amalgamation, Kirsten

Kirsten Livermore, thanks for at last declaring you agree with Peter Bettie on amalgamation (4RO 31/8).

You made a mistake trying to justify your stand by suggesting Rudd and Howard also agree with Beattie.

This may be Labor's stand, whereas John Howard has never made this suggestion.

The Prime Minister has always said he is strong on protecting our democratic right for us to have our say without fear of being sacked.

Let's see how the Cap Coast and rural areas respond to Kirsten's stand with Beattie and Labor on amalgamation.
