The Crazy Journey boys are certainly on a journey that could be described as crazy
Sunday, 09 December 2007
If I looked like any of the "Crazy Journey" crew and walked up to a girl in a bar and told her I was driving across 30 countries in a Hummer in order to raise money for Mental Health 'awareness" i'd have at least a reasonable chance of taking her home to bed - but that's about the least exciting thing about their story.
These four, under the age of 25, business and commerce graduates may very well be very well-positioned to have a lot of sex on thier amazing gap year road trip, but they bloody well deserve to be.
They obviously have a certain regard for the mental well being of society, because they've used this as their pretense to throw their Hummer into gear over 31 countries - flexin' their stunning pecs and fillin' up their AussieBum underwear in nations as diverse as Australia and Oman.
This foursome - two 'crazy' Aussies from Sydney, two 'crazy' Irish from Dublin - began their journey in Sydney, where a big party amongst the Aussie contingent sent them off, and shall end it in Dublin, where appropriately the Dublin party people will have the Guiness ready to flow. Now that's what you call crazy.
This brilliant entrepreneurs, here for some reason happily promoting the new Rockhampton Airport website , perhaps do their best work towards their cause supporting "crazy" people when they insanely drive around the world for free in a Hummer, or casual sex, or sexy underwear, or airport websites they couldn't possibly have known anything about, or anything else that may perhaps draw awareness to the fact that their "crazy" plan had worked in ways that only "crazy" minds like theirs could ever deem possible.
Fellows, you've all just pulled a bit more sanity into this world, where too often people believe that doing good and having fun cannot be had and done together.
