You only need to ask yourself one question to find out if you will enjoy 300. Do you like watching guys 'lay the smack down'?

From start to finish 300 is pretty much a non-stop action flick. The movie does slow down on occasion to explain some of the story (after all, we need some sort of excuse as to why they're in a war don't we?), but it ususally compensates by showing some nudity.

And once the action kicks back into gear again, it keeps up a driving pace together with the surreal cinematography as directed by Zack Snyder. The same sort of work can be seen in Sin City and it works just as well here.

You might want to keep your eye out for Australia's own David Wenham ('Diver Dan' from Sea Change) who has a supporting role in the movie.
